From a people list to an org that holds its shape.
Lyearn began by inviting people and listing them. As it grew into an HRMS, HR needed structure: job architecture with job groups, families and profiles, and a place where each job meets a person. I designed that model, the position: a seat in the org that carries a job profile and is filled by someone, or stays open.

Lyearn knew who worked here, not how the company fits together. I designed Positions: seats that link job architecture to people, so the org survives every hire, exit and reorg.
- 01The problem
A people list isn’t an org.
Lyearn began with invites and a people list. As it grew into an HRMS, HR needed reporting lines, open roles and job definitions, and every exit left a gap.
- 02What I did
I designed the position model.
Each position carries a job profile, sits in an org unit, reports to another seat and is filled by a person or stays open. I designed every screen around it.
- 03My role
Sole designer, end to end.
I shaped the model with engineering, designed every flow and edge state in Figma, and shipped parts of the front end myself with Claude Code.
